So much has happened in 2024! Here at Cars2, we've launched some amazing new sites, including our first OMODA & JAECOO dealership here in Wakefield, and our new Renault & Dacia Huddersfield Branch. 6 of our amazing brands have revealed some incredible new cars this year, and another 6 have won so many awards to be proud of! Lets take a closer look here:
Starting off the year strong, ranking 8th place in the Wakefield Top 100 Companies! Commended on our family-ran business attitude, enhanced customer experience, and passion for helping our community, we were more than proud to be mentioned!
The Wakefield Top 100 Companies aims to strengthen bonds within the Wakefield District business community, with companies such as the Mid-Yorkshire Teaching NHS Trust, and the Card Factory, also winning top spots.
After the introduction of OMODA & JAECOO to the UK this year, Cars2 took on these 2 new brands to welcome our first branch in Wakefield, right on sight at our Pure Cars dealership. Currently hosting the OMODA 5 and e5, and soon to be the proud home of the JAECOO 7, we have been over the moon to see our happy customers enjoying our new OMODA range!
With our existing Renault & Dacia customer base, we decided it was time to expand our horizons and open up our new Huddersfield dealership! Located conveniently next to our Nissan Huddersfield site, we have invited potential and returning Renault and Dacia customers from all over the surrounding area to take a look at our amazing new and used car (and Renault Pro+ van) ranges!
We've had some amazing releases this year, from electric sportscars to family SUVs. Here at Cars2, 6 of our brands have brought you new and improved vehicles that we hope you're as excited about as we are!
With 2 major new car launches this year, Renault have introduced both the Renault 4 & Renault 5, topping the market with their compact and modern design. Whether the Renault 5's unique colour options draw you in, or if you like the Renault 4's redesign of it's classic predecessor, they certainly haven't held back this year! At our Cars2 Renault Pro+ vans centres, we've also seen the release of the Master E-Tech, with a unique electrified powertrain. With it's 1,312mm sliding side doors and 270° opening back doors, it provides ample loading space for your everyday needs.
Arguably Dacia's biggest release of the year, the All-New Dacia BIGSTER. Arriving to showrooms in 2025 in exclusive, striking Indigo Blue, the BIGSTER is the newest 5-seater hybrid SUV on the market. It's new tech and design includes 19” Rasan diamond cut alloys, and dual 10.1" digital screens. Dacia has also taken to improving some of their existing models too, such as the New Spring, and the All-New Duster, encompassing with it's unique 4 wheel drive powertrain.
Nissan's unique e-POWER and e-4ORCE technology never fails to disappoint. The return of Nissan Nismo this year has brought us the New Ariya NISMO, for the eco-conscious thrill seeker. The world of motorsport delivered in an everyday vehicle, accelerating from 0-60mph in just 5 seconds! It's distinctive red accents and sporty design set this EV apart from the rest. Nissan have also taken to revamping some of their other models, bringing us the redesigned Nissan Leaf, as well as new electrified technologies in the Nissan Juke, and Nissan Qashqai with e-POWER. Which one is for you?
This year, MG brought us the most anticipated vehicle, and most talked-about electric sportscar on the market - the All-New MG Cyberster. Coming in 5 stunning colours and accelerating from 0-60mph in as little as 3.1 seconds, this has been a ground-breaking release for the automotive industry. This statement of a car has unmistakeable style and presence due to its modern electric innovation. MG's redesigned models also include their New HS and its Plug-In Hybrid partner, the New ZS Hybrid+, and the MG3+ Hybrid.
Hyundai's already wide range of vehicles and powertrains has never stopped them from bringing new ideas to the table. Their biggest release this year, the All-New Hyundai INSTER, is a compact EV that emphasises spaciousness, and a distinct, dramatic look. It's 229 mile all-electric range and exclusive Amazonas Green Matte paint has brought innovation to the world of electric vehicles. However, their imagination didn't stop there. 2024 brought us the New Santa-Fe, a stylish TUCSON redesign, the New KONA, and the New IONIQ 6. Not forgetting their recent teaser, the soon-to-come IONIQ 9, a roomy and flexible SUV, built to belong.
New to the vehicle industry, especially in the UK, JAECOO have given us unique design and innovative tech in their New JAECOO 7, a premium off-road SUV. Its 19" Aurora Inspired alloys, 14.8" infotainment screen, 540° camera, and air-cooled wireless charger certainly put this car about above the rest. Coming soon to dealerships all across the UK, including Cars2 OMODA & JAECOO Wakefield, the J7 brings style, modernity, and most importantly, safety, to the world of SUVs.
