Telesales Manager

Cars2 are a highly successful motor retailer based in West and South Yorkshire. We have grown extensively in recent years and now represent several of the world’s leading motor brands, including Hyundai, SEAT, Nissan, Fiat, Renault Dacia and MG. In early 2018, we opened our first Prestige used car dealership in Wakefield, known as Pure Cars.

We now have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated, talented professional to lead our Telesales department. This role will be based in Wakefield.

Duties of a Telesales Manager

Training of telesales staff

Implementing strategies to monitor performance of team and department

Providing effective training and feedback for manufacturer mystery shops

Ensuring the team is briefed on manufacturing changes and recalls for customer clarity.

Leading from the front by providing support on booking in service customers.

Day to day motivation and management of the team.

Maintaining good working relationships with service managers in regard to workshop hours and capabilities to maximise revenue and workshop opportunities.

Driving business through sales and the profitability of the service departments

Analysing team and department performance by providing daily and weekly reports

Maintaining that customer records and the company database is up to date through use of our telesales software provider reports

Undertaking performance reviews

Oversee targets for service plan renewals whilst maximising retention of customers.

Monthly reviews with our telesales systems provider.

Skills & Experience

Experience in a similar role and leading a team

Coaching and motivation team of telesales advisors

Driving the business forward by maximising sales

Leading by example

Natural ability to empathise with customers and strike engaging conversation
