Job description

Cars2 are a highly successful and expanding motor retail group based in West and South Yorkshire. We have grown extensively in recent years and now represent several the world’s leading motor brands, including Hyundai, SEAT, Renault, Dacia, MG & Nissan, as well as our own prestige and sports car brand - PureCars.

We are now looking for a dynamic and ambitious Service Manager to join our aftersales management team in Barnsley.

Duties & Responsibilities

Working as a highly involved Service Manager, you report to a company director and will be:

  • Well presented
  • Dynamic, high energy and visible in the business
  • Comfortable interacting with customers
  • Able to demonstrate success in customer service excellence
  • Coaching and motivating a team of aftersales professionals on a daily basis to reach and exceed Company targets and expectations
  • Driving the business forward by maximising sales and profitability in all areas of revenue generation

Skills

As an integral part of the Cars2 aftersales process, it is essential that you are able to demonstrate:

  • First class selling and marketing skills, gained within the Motor industry working in a franchised dealership environment
  • Well-developed leadership skills and the ability to coach and develop an aftersales team
  • Sound knowledge of employment best practice
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Being highly organised with the ability to prioritise and re-prioritise workloads
  • Up-to-date knowledge of employment best practice and motor trade practices
  • Lead by example with excellent i-VHC and dealer management system (DMS) disciplines
  • Oversee warranty and data submissions to the franchise partner to ensure 100% compliance with manufacturer requirements
