At the 2026 What Car? Awards, the MG HS Plug-in Hybrid was named Plug-in Hybrid of the Year for the second year running. The awards are widely regarded as one of the most respected benchmarks in the automotive industry, with vehicles assessed over thousands of miles of real-world testing.
According to the What Car? judging panel, the MG HS Plug-in Hybrid stood out in a highly competitive segment thanks to its combination of practicality, interior design and everyday usability. The model has also previously secured recognition as Best Family Hybrid SUV at the What Car? Electric Awards.
