How do I know if I am eligible for a Motability Scheme Vehicle?
You can join the scheme as long as you receive a qualifying mobility allowance with at least 12 months left. You can check right now by answering a few questions here.
Can I get an electric car with the Motability Scheme?
Yes! Many manufacturers in the UK offer electric vehicle options for Motability Scheme customers. You can even get free home charger with standard installation as part of your agreement. Hybrid, mild-hybrid and plug-in hybrid options are also available.
When can I change my current Motability vehicle?
You can change your current Motability vehicle after your 3-year lease, however if you already have your eye on your next car, you can order it up to 3 months before the end of your term.
How long is the contract on a Motability car?
Usually your contract is for 3 years. However, you do have the option to extend your lease for a further 12 months if you are not ready to make the change.
How do I pay for my Motability vehicle?
The Motability Scheme will receive your payments direct from your allowance provider - so there's no tricky paperwork each mont.
