Warranty Coverage

When you purchase a new SEAT from an authorized UK retailer, your vehicle comes with a comprehensive three-year warranty.

Peace of Mind

Your warranty includes a two-year unlimited mileage manufacturer’s warranty, along with a third-year warranty covering up to 60,000 miles. Additionally, you’ll receive a three-year paintwork warranty and a 12-year anti-perforation warranty. You also have the option to extend the vehicle warranty by one or two additional years when ordering your new SEAT.

Warranty Benefits

During the First Two Years

If any manufacturing fault arises within the initial warranty period, an authorized SEAT service provider will perform the necessary repairs at no charge, even if they weren’t the original retailer. Replaced parts will be covered for the remainder of your warranty period.

Conditions:

• Normal wear and tear service items are not included.
• If the vehicle has been modified with aftermarket accessories, removal of such equipment may be required to complete the repair, which may incur an additional charge.
• Ownership changes do not affect the warranty coverage.

Third-Year Coverage

Following the first two years, the third-year warranty applies as long as:

• The vehicle mileage does not exceed 60,000 miles.
• The vehicle was imported by SEAT UK and purchased from an authorized SEAT UK retailer.

This warranty will end after three years from the date of initial registration or at 60,000 miles, whichever comes first. If your mileage surpasses 60,000 within the first two years, the two-year manufacturer’s warranty remains valid, but third-year coverage will not automatically apply.

Paint & Bodywork Warranty

Starting from the registration date, your SEAT is protected by a three-year paintwork warranty and a 12-year anti-perforation warranty. Any defects in paintwork occurring within this period will be addressed free of charge by an authorized SEAT service provider, regardless of the original retailer.

Conditions:

• Defects must be reported promptly within the warranty period.
• Damage must not result from external factors like accidents, pollution, inadequate maintenance, or environmental conditions. A SEAT technician will assess this during inspection.

Anti-Perforation Warranty

All SEAT vehicles come with a 12-year anti-perforation warranty, guarding against rust penetration from internal cavities to external surfaces. If corrosion of this nature occurs, repairs will be handled by an authorized SEAT service provider free of charge.

Conditions:

• Defects must be reported promptly within the warranty period.
• Rust should not result from external damage, neglect, or previous repairs that compromised anti-perforation standards.
• Any rusting issues should be reported immediately to an authorized SEAT service provider.

Repairs will follow the manufacturer’s guidelines, using only approved parts and materials to ensure lasting anti-corrosion protection.
