Cars2 are a highly successful and expanding motor retail group based in West and South Yorkshire. We have grown extensively in recent years and now represent several the world’s leading motor brands, including Hyundai, SEAT, Renault, Dacia, Fiat/Abarth, MG & Nissan, as well as our own prestige and sports car brand - PureCars.

We have 2 new franchised car dealerships opening in Wakefield in the next 3 months are now looking to enhance our sales management team for these 2 new businesses. If you are an experienced and ambitious Sales Controller/Business Manager looking to further advance their career, or currently a Sales Manager looking for a new and exciting challenge then this opportunity is definitely for you.

Remuneration & Benefits

For the role of Sales Manager you will receive:

Duties & Responsibilities

Working as a highly involved Sales Manager you will be:

  • A strong and positive communicator
  • Visible in the business
  • Coaching and motivating a team of Sales Controllers and Executives to reach and exceed Company targets and expectations
  • Controlling costs in line with Dealership and Department objectives
  • Comfortable creating strong working relationships with manufacturer representatives
  • Able to take personal control of customer service excellence at all times
  • Driving the business forward by maximising sales and profitability

Skills

As an integral part of the Cars2 sales process, it is essential that you are able to demonstrate:

  • First class Selling and Marketing skills – gained within the motor industry
  • Well-developed leadership skills and the ability to coach a Sales force by example
  • Sound knowledge of employment best practice
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Being highly organised with the ability to prioritise and re-prioritise workloads to achieve the desired results
  • Up-to-date knowledge of employment best practise and motor trade practices

The Person

The role would ideally suit a highly professional and dynamic Sales Controller/Business Manager with a strong track record in the retail automotive sector and the following qualities:
